I am writing this review...

firstly because i like the movie with its random violence and humor, and secondly because i want to return and see it again, without putting it in my favorites! I voted 4-5...

Ofcourse I couldnt say for sure before i saw it. But when I did, I couldn't imagien anything else...

This sure is one of your best movies to date. At first I thought It would be much like your other pieces, but when I got further and further into it, I found that it was somehow diffrent. The length of it for one, it was longer then your ussuals, which in my oppinion was nice, I could sit for hours seeing it develop with all those beatiful scenes and to the tunes of WOUNDERFUL MEW, (I did actually hope it would go on when it was near the end :D)

Your flash/animation skills have improved, I espesially noticed when the main character slipped down the hill, and then again at the "painting scene", but through the hole movie you could feel improvements :)

By the way my cousin (Mr-Skippo), tells me that you got the first music-part from one of Mews live concerts, true or false :) ?

Anyway, as you might have guest i really like your "Chinaberry Tree" animation, hope to see more movies in that lenght ^-^

Hehe I guess you were right:)
Yeah... it could have been longer... there were lots of scenes I didn't include, and some scenes were originally longer... but I reached a point where I was running out of music, and therefor I had to end it where I did. Thanks alot:) It's nice to hear that people think I'm improving... on the other hand, it would be stupid to practice and get worse;)
True... They use it as an intro to their concerts. It's called
"Circurity of the Wolf" It is also on their newest album.
My next movie wont be as long... I need to make something that doesn't take 5 months to complete. But the movie that comes after that will be about the length of Cinaberry Tree.

I'm glad you loved them... they are from one of my dreams, only in my dream they looked like normal deers do;)

Fin musikvideo som altid Asger... Syntes måske at temaet med den jaloux kæreste er lidt brugt efterhånden, men hvis det var det bandet bad om... eller du fik måske helt frie tøjler?

Kan du fortælle noget om hvordan arbejds procesen med bandet var?

Hej Tue:)
Glæder mig at du kunne lide den... den tog mig trods alt 5 måneder at lave... Joh... du har ret i at det tema er ved at være lidt træt... men det var sådan at da bandet kontaktede mig ville de for det første have at hovedpersonen skulle sidde i en elektrisk stol, og det måtte også gerne have noget med en kvinde at gøre på en eller anden måde... og stilen skulle meget gerne minde om Human. Resten havde jeg helt frie tøjler til.
De startede med at sende en mail til mig, hvori de spurgte om jeg var interesseret i at lave en musik video til The Final Words, og jeg sagde ja med det samme. Da alle detaljerne var på plads gik jeg så i gang med at animere. Når jeg havde spørgsmål eller noget andet fik jeg så et nummer jeg kunne ringe til. Vi aftalte så også at for hver 30 sekunder jeg lavede skulle jeg sende dem et klip, så de kunne kommentere det og sige til hvis der var noget de ville have rettet eller ikke var tilfredse med. Og det var sådan set sådan det gik til...
Glæder mig forresten til at se din næste film:)

You "only" get a 7 this time, because I thought it leaned too much against the real musikvid.... But then again I guess thats what you were going for. Glad to hear you are planing a film for "comforting sounds"... looking forward to it !

Thanks for your kind and honest review Tue.
I know what you mean... That wasn't the original intention... it just sort of happened. That's why I've been working on a remake for some time... a remake I'm not even sure I'll ever get done:S Too many projects in my head already. I'm really looking forward to getting some of my projects done so that I may have time to make Comforting Sounds... I've been wanting to make it for ages now... and as I said in my respond to the other review... I hope to be able to begin work on it early in 06.

Ja... han er en lidt speciel fyr ham Flack-redderen:) Faktisk forholder det sig sådan at det ikke er hans tunge, men hans drøbel... sådan så den også ud i min drøm. Ja giraffen er et spændende og inspirerende dyr:) Jeg tror dog ikke der kommer flere giraffer med i mine film lige foreløbig. 2 må være nok indtil videre...

I was quite supprised when the giraf appert... it reminded me of Mew's "The zookeepers boy", song. Is that why you chose that animal purhaps? :P

Hehe... The Zookeeper's Boy is a great song. While brainstorming for ideas for this film I listened to that song among others, and the "Tall just like a giraffe" part ispired me to add a giraffe to my film. Thanks for the 8 btw:)

Jeg syntes det er fedt at du promovere danske bands på denne måde. Jeg er selv i gang med en flash til en af Nephews sange... anyways... god flash til god musik!

Takker:) Ja man må gøre noget for de danske kunstnere:) Er jo lidt vild med Mew, så jeg har lavet et par film til nogle af deres sange, og er netop i gang med endnu en. Held og lykke med din film. Håber det lykkes for dig;)
